A critical piece to school safety is the immediate response to an incident at school. Weather events, fire, accidents, intruders and other threats to safety are scenarios that are planned and trained for by students and staff. 

FISD uses Standard Response Protocol (SRP) which provides a common language around five protective actions campuses can take when an emergency arises. Please refer to the Standard Response Protocol below for specifics about each action.
