Floresville ISD announced Mrs. Diana Conlee as one of two Teachers of the Month for October.
Mrs. Conlee started as a substitute teacher, then spent three years as an FISD Aide, two and a half years working at the Bexar County Juvenile Justice Academy, three years as a 3rd-grade Math teacher at Floresville Elementary, 10 years as a 2nd-grade Math and Reading teacher Floresville North Elementary, and four years as a Pre-K teacher at Floresville North and Floresville Early Childhood Center.
Mrs. Conlee obtained her degree later in life after working in the corporate world. She says that she loves teaching Pre-K because it keeps her feeling very young. She has to dance daily, sing, skip, run after, chase down and cuddle our littles. She mentions that she wished she would have known this about Pre-K years earlier so she could feel even younger today! She knows everyone and everyone knows her. She is very respectful, polite, follows the rules, and stays in her lane. Mrs. Conlee is always positive, complies with what is asked of her, and speaks well of others.
We are proud to recognize Mrs. Conlee as Teacher of the Month!
